Gratitude for My Body: A Gentle Self-Care Practice for Moms

Growing older comes with its own set of aches—leg pain, back pain, heartache, brain fog. The other day, while massaging my leg, I said, “You’ve done a good job so far. Good girl.” To my surprise, I actually felt the pain soften and leave. Curious, I did some research and discovered that speaking kindly to our bodies can reduce tension, ease pain, and even promote healing.
